U.S. President Donald Trump told CBS News that he remains determined to pursue a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, despite growing uncertainty over the prospects of face-to-face talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump described his stance as both realistic and optimistic. "I have seen it and talked about it with President Putin and President Zelensky," Trump said in a phone interview. When asked if he sometimes had to wait, Trump replied, "Well, you have to."
