Washington (USA), 14 April (LaPresse) – Over the next two days in Pakistan, “something could happen” regarding the negotiations between the United States and Iran. Donald Trump made this remark whilst speaking to a New York Post correspondent in Islamabad. “You should stay there, really, because something might happen in the next two days, and we are more likely to go in that direction,” said the president. “It’s more likely; do you know why? Because the field marshal is doing a great job,” added Trump, referring to the Pakistani Chief of Staff, Asim Munir, whom he described as “fantastic”. As for the suggestion of Geneva as another potential venue for the peace talks, Trump appeared to rule out this possibility. “Why should we go to a country that has nothing to do with it?” the president said.
