Turin, 18 Apr. (LaPresse) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has arrested more than 120 people who, according to the IRGC, were affiliated with the United States, the United Kingdom and Israel and were ‘laying the groundwork for an enemy military attack’, as reported by the Tasnim news agency. The IRGC arrested seven suspects in the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan, accused of ‘sending the coordinates of sensitive locations to their headquarters’, Tasnim reports. A further 69 people were arrested in the province of Mazandaran and another 51, including three ‘espionage teams’, were uncovered in the province of Kerman, according to the report.
