"Due to weather conditions and following the recommendation of the Port Authority, the MV Hondius has been temporarily moored in the port of Granadilla. Strong winds and rough seas made this the safest solution for disembarking passengers and allowing the evacuation teams to operate,‘ Spanish Health Minister Mónica García wrote on X. ’After several difficult days, we are now in the final phase of the operation. We will continue to provide updates," she added.
