Washington (USA), 27 May (LaPresse) – “Iran will never have a nuclear weapon”, but “diplomacy is always the first option and we are continuing to work on this”. This was stated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio during the cabinet meeting currently taking place at the White House. ‘We have made progress’ and ‘we will see in the coming hours and days what further progress can be made’, he added, emphasising that the United States has ‘other options’ available should no agreement be reached with Tehran.
