Milan, 3 June (LaPresse) – Hezbollah has claimed to have carried out new missile and kamikaze drone attacks against Israeli troops stationed in several occupied villages in southern Lebanon, particularly near Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon. This is reported by L'Orient Le Jour. The Shia militia-party has claimed responsibility for four attacks, carried out using artillery, rockets and kamikaze drones, against Israeli soldiers and Merkava tanks near the medieval fortress at around 6.30 pm. According to these statements, the attacks “hit their target and led to the destruction” of the Israeli vehicles targeted. Hezbollah also reported targeting Israeli soldiers in Rashaf (Bint Jbeil) with a barrage of rockets. It further reported renewed clashes overnight in the village of Haddatha, which the occupying forces have been attempting to capture for several days.
