Milan, 5 June (LaPresse) – A conversation between Jessica Moretti, owner of the Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana, and her staff caught the attention of investigators and lawyers present at today’s hearing at the public prosecutor’s office in Sion, Switzerland. It concerned the sparklers used at certain parties, whose sparks sparked the fire in which 41 people died. In a message to a waiter, Jessica Moretti wrote: ‘If they want the sparklers, be very careful, stay there until they go out because if they fall onto the sofa or the floor and set the foam on the ceiling alight, the Constel will burn down…’. This was reported by RTL. According to the couple under investigation, these exchanges were meant to be ironic and did not reflect any real concern about the danger of the material.
