Milan, 13 June (LaPresse) – ‘We are closer than ever to a peace agreement. As its finalisation is expected within the next 24 hours, Pakistan is preparing for the digital signing of the peace agreement immediately afterwards, followed by technical-level talks next week.’ This was announced in a post on social media platform X by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. ‘We wish to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their steadfast commitment during the negotiations, and we express our sincere appreciation to our brothers in the region for their support,’ he added, ‘we are confident that this historic peace agreement will form a solid foundation for lasting peace.’
