Jerusalem, June 14 (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz confirmed an attack in the southern suburbs of Beirut, stating that Israel "will not tolerate direct fire on its territory". In a joint statement, Netanyahu and Katz said that the Israeli army "has just struck Hezbollah terrorist targets" in the Dahiyeh area, in response to alleged attacks by the Lebanese group against the Jewish state. "Israel will not tolerate direct fire on its territory," they said.
