Milan, 11 May (LaPresse) – The UEFA Referees Committee has appointed German referee Daniel Siebert to officiate the 2026 Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, which will be played at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday 30 May 2026. Kick-off is scheduled for 18:00 CEST. The 40-year-old referee, who has been an international referee since 2015, will take charge of his first final in a UEFA club competition. This season, he has refereed nine UEFA Champions League matches, including the first leg of the quarter-finals between Sporting CP and Arsenal FC and the second leg of the semi-finals between Arsenal FC and Atlético de Madrid. He also refereed the 2025 UEFA Europa League semi-final between Manchester United and Athletic Club. He officiated two matches at UEFA Euro 2024 and three matches at UEFA Euro 2020.
