Milan, 12 May (LaPresse) – Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé has won the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award for the second consecutive season. Dembélé received the award on Monday evening, securing PSG’s tenth consecutive title. Although Dembélé was instrumental in PSG’s league victory last season with 21 goals, his impact has been less significant this year. He started only nine league matches due to various injuries. His teammate Désiré Doué won the award for best young player, whilst Pierre Sage was named best manager for transforming Lens into a serious title contender. Haitian playmaker Melchie Dumornay, who plays for OL Lyonnes, won the award for best player.
