Rome, 27 April (LaPresse) – During a meeting with the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz stated that Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem is “playing with fire”. “There will be no real ceasefire in Lebanon as long as our forces and the communities of Galilee continue to be targeted by fire,” Katz told Hennis-Plasschaert, according to a statement from the minister’s office. Katz added that the Lebanese government “must ensure the disarmament of Hezbollah, first south of the Litani River and subsequently throughout Lebanon”.
