Milan, 26 May (LaPresse) – A series of Israeli air raids on Machghara, in the Bekaa Valley in western Lebanon, launched last night have caused at least twelve deaths, according to reports in L'Orient Le Jour. Rescue teams are still working in the area. Israeli fighter jets bombed the village at least ten times. Among the victims is Hussein Rizk, a religious studies teacher at Sohmor High School (Western Bekaa). His son, Mohammad Ali, was killed by Israel in 2024.
