Milan, 8 May (LaPresse) – ‘We note that the Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office deemed it necessary to place the victim’s family members under surveillance, whose only apparent ‘crime’ seems to have been that of actively participating in a criminal trial that concluded with the final conviction of Alberto Stasi, upheld by the Supreme Court of Cassation, and of not believing in any way in Andrea Sempio’s involvement.’ So say the lawyers representing Chiara Poggi’s family, Gian Luigi Tizzoni and Francesco Compagna. “We also note that the results of this surprising wiretapping activity are currently being improperly disseminated,” they conclude, “in defiance of all relevant criminal law provisions.”
