London (United Kingdom), 14 May (LaPresse) – The British Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, has resigned from the government of Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who is currently under pressure, in what is expected to be a first step towards a challenge to Starmer’s leadership. The Prime Minister is under pressure following the Labour Party’s disastrous results in last week’s local and regional elections. Streeting, whose political ambitions have long been known, is considered one of the few people who could attempt to oust Starmer.
